ENGLISH TEACHER JOB HUNTING AND INTERVIEW PROCESS IN VIETNAM | TESOL SERIES EPISODE 05 | VLOG #32

Episode 05, English Teacher Job Hunting in Vietnam – Wall Street English Interview.

We hope you enjoyed this video, we tried to document the process as much as we could. Sorry we did not cover more interviews at different companies, but we did not end up going for as many as we expected. Since we basically only went to Wallstreet English and
Vinschool.

If you have not seen our other videos documenting our experience of becoming a TESOL certified teacher here in Vietnam, you can check out our playlist here –

If you have any questions, we can help you with them, Rhett did go for one more interview at Yola, so if you need to know anything about that or Wallstreet English, do not hesitate to comment below and we will provide as much help as we can 🙂

The ESL series includes topics such as the paperwork required to work in Vietnam, signing up for and attending a TESOL course in Ho Chi Minh City, the day to day experience of being on the course, attending observations and teaching practices, and a summary of our experience and thoughts about the course.

Thank you so much for this series, it is very informative and gives a very good idea of what I could expect. That definitely helps with the unknowns and anxiety of making this type of life change. 🙂

  • When you mentioned how coffee tasted differently…was that from the same coffee house? In VN, depends on which coffee shops you go to, most well known shops (usually within the city) serve reputable coffee while some use cheaper/adulterated coffees.

  • love the video, good, editing, good quality and nice music. i am excited to see more from you all. My apartment lease in the USA is up this December, I am planning on Moving out to get a job teaching English In vietnam this coming January of 2020. I was reading there is a big festival/celebration in February and most schools don't hire that, is it worth it for me to come out in January or should I wait until after February and come out in March?

  • Good video. If you wonder why is the cafe really bitter sometimes, I can answer for you that it is traditional cafe of Vietnam. Amost vietnamese drink cafe without sugar or milk or even ice due to that it is made more energy and conscious.
